Hi there! I am Joice – an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher, born in São Paulo in 1975, mother of 2 incredible human beings: Iasmim and Julia.

I’ve been teaching for the past 20 years after living in the USA for some years – yes! It had always been my dream doing that, but it had also been the plan to return to my home city in order to contribute to my community by teaching English and sharing the experience I had had abroad.

Throughout these years I had the opportunity to participate in many teachers’ courses, meet unforgettable peers who have taught me greatly therefore I worked as a teacher, course designer, teacher trainer and school coordinator in many well-known English schools and Language centers.

Although I had always had private students when working in those places, it was in 2005 I decided to take the plunge and fly solo, which gave me the chance to dive deep into customized, taylor-made courses from very beginners to advanced levels, from General English to Business and Special Purposes English and recently from presential to SPOC courses.

What an incredible and priceless journey it has been: seeing people reach their goals, thrive in their studies and careers, fly high – sometimes literally, LOL – to other continents confident on their ability to communicate coherently, clearly and accurately.

Let me tell you something, I am extremely fortunate to make a living and to provide to my family by doing what I love! Teaching.

So, here we are! Nice meeting you, I hope to contribute positively to your search. Feel free to read some of my students’ comments on their courses in the section testimonial.

Do not hesitate to get in touch for more info on the courses or even to ask for an input on your current one and/or some hints on how to improve your English.

Meanwhile I wish you a Good Path and an Abundant Life.

Cheers,

Joice Albanez
